Death of Lady Maria S37 Let's Play Bloodborne's DLC
1Lady Maria is a very fast paced battle that can be more than a little annoying. She's very fast, can strike room wide on some attacks, and has huge aoe attacks that can conceivably stun lock you.
Phase 1 is easy.. well as easy as it gets, she has no special powers except a really fast dash and swing. Everything else is just a variation of a swing or stab.
Phase 2 is a bit harder, her swords seemingly get longer. Her regular attacks have longer range, she gains at least 1 new aoe attack, and gains the long distance room wide attack in this phase. I wish I could tell you how to dodge them, but I never really learned how. My advice to avoid those, is just STAY CLOSE to her. Heal after dodging if needed, backing up dangerous in the 2nd phase.
Phase 3 is even worse than the second. Her already extended attacks gain flame element after the blood dissipates, then combust violently. This stuns you if you're in it and you can easily be combo'd to death. My advice? Try and get some good combos in, it sounds suicidal, but even in her 3rd phase three hits seems to stun her. If you have a fast enough weapon you can do close to 1k damage a combo.Everything else is the same but with higher stakes. (The possible instant death combo thingy)
A potential cheesy strategy also seems to work so far. After you swing at least once (I prefer twice to maximize damage and it seems to almost guarantee the revenge swing from her), Lady Maria seems to be very quick to retailiate, thus after a swing just fire your gun! It'll likely set her up for a visceral.
