I first played Death Stranding on my PS4, back in early 2020, just as the pandemic and lockdown started to really kick in in the UK. It easily turned into a real favourite; I'd say it's one of my top 5 favourite games ever.
When the Director's Cut was announced I knew I'd want it and want to play all the way through again, and to do that I wanted to get a PS5. Getting a PS5 was impossible so I gave up.
As of the time of recording/writing this, it's June 2022, the Steam Summer Sale is on and... yes, I got the PC version instead. So, here I go, the idea is to take a long slow play through the story, and to explore the director's cut as I go. The plan is to stream on an ad-hoc basis on Twitch and then upload to here.
