What is "DEATH STRANDING (2019)"
Primarily a game about making deliveries in a post-apocalyptic America that is designed to look quite closely to Iceland. Understanding your center of gravity, the terrain ahead of you and the gear you'll need for the journey are crucial to Sam Bridge's (the player character) success. Along the way you'll witness the horrific, invisible to the naked eye BTs, the cargo starved MULEs and sadistic sycophantic homo-demens terrorist groups.
Players will be able to build structures, place ladders and repelling ropes as well as clear out trails for themselves and others through the deemed "Stranding" system. All players online are connected via this stranding system. You wont see them, but their actions and yours will affect eachother. Walking a path just might encourage others to follow, and sooner or later, that path becomes a dirt road wide enough for motorbikes and vehicles to pass through unscathed. Every little thing you do counts to make someone else's life easier, and they just might return the favor and do the same or offer you EXP in the form of "Likes".
This game is also a 3rd person stealth-action shooter. Use weapons, explosives, gadgets and tools available at your disposal to outsmart and outplay dangerous adversaries. Complete with boss battles and a unique sci-fi story with a ton of lore in the form of emails and data logs, it's really something I enjoy.
I've put over 200 hours in DEATH STRANDING on PS4 on the HARD difficulty, so I'm excited to get this game underway on the brand new "Very Hard" difficulty. I hope you enjoy our adventure together as we form a connection on this journey.
