DeathKeep - 3DO (1995)
3Somehow, the 3DO got two AD&D games. Both are in a similar FPS adventure style and this is by far the lesser known title. That's probably for the best, as you can tell. It could have been a neat, streamlined, updated spin on Ultima Underworld with some decent power and tech behind it. Instead, we get this uninspired, clunky mess of an RPG. So many flaws, but the one I'm calling out the most is that you have no pause for the menu. I could totally get behind a no-pause system. Dark Souls has it and it works fine. But when the game is already such a mess, why add that kind of needless pressure?
