0It’s been a hot minute since I’ve tried an indie title of any kind and DeathSpank seemed just like a small, casual, fun-looking thing I would enjoy. Make no mistake, it’s well-made, has a solid, self-deprecating humour, plenty of references to other media, but the core gameplay loop is incapable of hooking me on for too long. The official description says something about an action roleplaying game, but for me it feels more like a hack and slash genre. Still, I’d say that this satirical, ironic take on your standard world saving adventure tale is worth checking out ;) As always, sit back, relax and enjoy! It was created by game designers Ron Gilbert and Clayton Kauzlaric. The game was released on July 13, 2010 on the PlayStation 3 via the PlayStation Network and on July 14, 2010 on the Xbox 360 via Xbox Live Arcade.
