This is sort of two bosses that I've rolled into one. Well, yes and no. Actually, let's just go with "no". You fight the creepy phantom looking Deathtoll (who is easy as hell, despite the fact that I don't/can't dodge a single attack he throws out), and once you defeat him you're thrown right into his true form, where he becomes a lord and also a huge 80s metal-album monster. I still am shit at dodging his attacks, but that Power Bracelet makes it easy to tank it all. Just throw that Phoenix until victory (side note: it's amazing how many ideas they took from this game and incoporated into the spiritual successor, and my favorite SNES game, Illusion of Gaia. Right down to using a Phoenix to defeat the final boss). I was going to record the ending, but it's over ten minutes of just slow, boring dialogue. Just YouTube a video of it! Anyway, at some point hopefully soon I'll complete the loose trilogy and play Terranigma, a game I've wanted to play for probably close to twenty years
