Debt Collector side quest fallout new vegas (text form)


Hello BROS Bryan here
Debt Collector quest, quick guide for you guys

First go to the Atomic Wrangler, talk to Francine Garret and ask for work

If you already did Wang Dang Atomic Tango and for the suave talker you choose Santiago, this is what she says

Once the quest is started we go search for Grecks first, he’s behind the Old Mormont Fort.
If you repeatedly comment about his eye he will turn hostile and you will collect from a corpse

Grecks will pay up the 138 caps as soon as he understands you were sent by the Garrets

Then we go to find Santiago, he is located behind the collapsed building opposite of Mick & Ralph's
He will try to talk his way out of it, just PUNCH him in the face and he will pay

Then we go for Lady Jane located outside the north gate to the Strip
With a perception of 7 or higher you can tell she’s lying and get the caps
Or with the Lady Killer perk you can convince her to hand over the 250 caps and also give the location of her lost caravan.

Since I lack the perk or perception needed, I accepted to go search for the caravan
Notes: the brahmin will not spawn if the cave has been entered before receiving this quest.
Also the brahmin will not spawn unless one offers to retrieve the debt, or getting the information through the Lady Killer perk.

Reached the cave and entered, go to the right until you find the brahmin, if you have the Wild Wasteland perk you will encounter rodents of unusual size which are kind of strong enemies

Looted the brahmin and went up the cave to get the Ratslayer rifle
Then left the cave and went back to the garrets

For the next task you need to enter the Strip
I went in the strip through camp mccarran monorail, but you can also pay the 2000 caps to the robot OR pass the robot with a 80 science skill OR finish G.I Blues quest for the fake passport the king provides as the king’s favor

Once inside the Strip Caleb is in the first section just outside Gomorrah.
With a speech skill of 40 he will give 57 caps and his hat, any other dialogue option will turn him hostile
Therefore I just kill him using the Ratslayer rifle


Once I grabbed his hat and caps
Went back to the Garrets, finish the quest and claim the reward
