"Deceit" is uh. A game? All the enemies have their mouths wide open, so. Draw your own conclusions. ALRIGHT I said I'd write out some constructive criticism for this game so here goes:

- Probably should have some actual animations for the enemies instead of the stock ones they came with

- Having a cutscene then having zero story for the rest of the game feels like the dev made it over one weekend and when Sunday came around, went like "this is too much work" and phoned in the ending. You can feel the game begin hemorrhaging quality from the point you encounter the "bodies"

- It's not hard to make a proper road sign. For your introductory cutscene, I'd imagine a sign that didn't look like it was written out in Notepad would be preferable for a good first impression?

- The house doesn't have to be filled with artificial fog, constant sound effects and random models to be scary. In fact, it's significantly less scary the fuller it feels. Emptiness is where horror lies when used in moderation.

- So yeah, the girl out in the yard that gives you the giant key JPEG is pretty inexcusable. Putting a model out there and coding a "when you press Interact, show this image" takes what, ten minutes of work at most? For the penultimate move of the game it's incredibly underwhelming.

- Why is the boy standing in the room when you see him at the end. Isn't he supposed to be in a "deep sleep"? Shouldn't he be lying on the bed?

- The game ending immediately after that is a slap in the face. No actual ending cutscene, just a line of text saying "Yeah, so you totally rescued him GG" is pretty insulting for a paid product like this.

- Overall, this feels like a "storyboard" more than a game. Things are just kind of placed in order of a potential interaction and none of the content is actually there. Games take work to create. Games are hard to make. If you grew impatient with the work it takes to make a quality game and decided to phone it in, you shouldn't charge money for it.
