Deck vs Doom - Can a roguelite deck-building tower defense game be fun?
The title of this video is very much based on my own prejudices as the words roguelite and deck building are not at the top of my list for fun TD games however this one was pretty good.
Deck building is not my thing as you can probably tell by some of my choices but i did enjoy my time with the demo and recommend giving it a go, what have you got to lose :)
I think my only complain apart from it's roguelite and deckbuilding is playing it on ultrawide meant a lot of empty space to the side of the screen with these very small maps in the middle and it looked a bit cluttered. Perhaps the maps get bigger as you progress but with fairly large towers it was difficult at times to see where and what you were placing.
