Deckbuilder Board Auto Battler Roguelike | Doomspire Demo Gameplay
1Hello everyone! Here we are with another demo of an upcoming game. This is Doomspire, a deckbuilder boardgame roguelike that plays as several games of the genre. If I'm being hoonest, I don't know how to call them but their default mechanics are the same, you start generating 2 mana, which gets increased by 1 per turn, and you are meant to place your creatures on the board, against an enemy that's doing the same. Your objective is to deplete the enemy's HP, while he is trying to do the same... Is this an auto battler too? It feels like one for sure. Performance is a huge mess though, and that's why I don't have an intro for this one. I did the intro, but the game was using so many resources that ended up destroying that part of the recording (video and audio were a mess), so I don't know if I skipped a tutorial or just wasn't any.
There is potential here for a fun game, but they offer too many mixed rewards, and it is hard to get a chance to remove to be actually building some synergies (even when there are plenty of synergies).
