Defender for the Atari 2600 VCS
11Defender was a really cool arcade shooter that got a really good Atari port, in this game you have to shoot the bad guys as per regular space shooters, but you must also save the people on the bottom of the screen from getting kidnapped by UFO's, if a person is dragged all the way to the top of the screen the UFO warps into an even meaner space ship. This was a lot of fun to play, it includes all of the key game elements, and is a hit in my book.
