Now that the NDA is lifted, here is an early look at Defiance gameplay from my Beta playthrough and impressions so far. It may not be the most breathtaking game graphically, but it certainly was fun while it lasted. The mixture of third person shooter and RPG mechanics in an MMO was interesting, but worked out much better than expected.

The choice of PS3 over PC or Xbox 360 was merely due to friends already getting it for PS3, and the need to further justify why I own one (other than as a glorified blu-ray player).
