0The Alcatraz update brings a new co-op map type, expeditions. The starting difficulty tier is determined by the player(s) ego rating and upon completing a round, the player(s) can move on to the next tier for more difficult enemies and better loot. This was played on the public test server so aspects such as loot may not reflect what they will be like when the update hits the live servers.
