In a bid to unite the voices of the marginalised, Delhi hosted probably India's first Dalit Literature Festival. The two-day festival was organised by Kirorimal College's Hindi Dept in collaboration with several Dalit and Ambedkarite groups. Over 100 writers and artists as well as academicians & social activists took part in the event.
