When this server was put into service a few years ago, I knew right off the bat that I wanted the drives to be configured in RAID 10, but... I only had two WD Enterprise drives on hand. Instead of ordering additional enterprise drives (since I wanted this up and running ASAP), I chose to head over to the local Best Buy and pick up two WD Blue drives. My intention was to swap them out in the near future and repurpose them, but we all know how that goes! It's been years now!!

Anyway, here I am now, finally gettin' after it!

*Although not officially stated, the hard drive enclosure listed above will work with 2.5" drives, but it really depends on the use case. For example, if you want to test drives on the fly, I would go with this. Otherwise, it would likely be more convenient to go with something that suits the physical size of the drive.
