I was thinking instead of buying a Sony PCG-FX240 or a Dell Precision M4300 but i decided not to. I don't have a Core i3 laptop yet so i bought this.
The only complaints i have so far is the audio SUCKS,
-it's too quiet like my Toshiba Satellite L675D-S7052 did. Adding speakers and using them as an amplifier will work to relieve the low volume.
-The brightness control has a mind of its own. It goes to full brightness blinding me.
-Vertical motion of the touchpad seems slower than horizontal.

I fully charged the battery and played a 47 minute collection of audio tracks (to record to cassette) and on the balanced power profile, the battery only went down to 89%! if i was using the Inspiron 9400 it would of went down to 20% so it looks like lithium ion technology has gotten better.
Early September i was watching 4k video online, on battery! Too bad my internet speeds are too low. The device can play 4k just fine.
