Mmhmm, if you play Strategically, its really just a game of chess, and EVERY CHARACTER is pretty much unbeatable if you just use the cards awarded to you wisely, every single round, My Fellow Gamers.
I've beaten the game with Every character, on their own so far, several times, and have found it to be pretty much a given if you don't get wasteful with the movement and the rounds, or, run into a bit of bad luck, its a given I will beat the game, every single round, by just playing thoughtfully.
As a lifetime DnD player, and DM, as in, since the Red Book wasn't a box set, this is all pretty much just the Basics of what a Good DnD player brings to the table. Play smart, avoid getting slaughtered, Use Your Character, use your best traits, Be Careful...and you will go far, unless you run into some bad luck, or make that One bad decision, and get your character wasted.
And so I though to just record a round and post it up for others who think its perhaps Too Hard to beat...with just One character, on your own.
Well, here you go, this is about my average time, about 30 mins if I am just wandering, this is Not really a Speed run, just a quick run thru, I think the game is beatable in under 10 mins if you wanted to run thru it just to get to the end.
And this brings up the Value to be found in DEMEO, is it a game worth buying? Yes, I think so, it provides a nice change of pace, the social aspect can be good or bad, depending on who is in the game, and that's normal across all online gaming of course. Could it have been a LOT more right out the gate? Ohh Yes, obviously, if gamers can pound thru the game in 30 mins, or 10 if given the want of that, well, that's not much of a value when its just going to be the same 10, 30, 60, 90 mins from that point on, and I would value DEMEO in this form at around $15 -$17 bucks.
