STOCKHOLM, Sweden - November 9, 2023 - Following the success of 2021’s award-winning cooperative dungeon crawler Demeo, Resolution Games has today released the long-awaited second entry in the Demeo Action Role Playing System. Demeo Battles [TRAILER] is now available on Steam (flatscreen PC or VR) and Meta Quest (VR), and turns Demeo’s turn-based formula on its head, dropping heroes into the arena to compete head-to-head for the first time. Players will see their tactical prowess put to the test in matches that determine whose strategies are sharpest in their quest to dominate the battlefield. Resolution Games has also revealed today that the game will come to PlayStation 5 and PlayStation VR2 in 2024 and to Pico soon.

Players in Demeo Battles assemble a team of two heroes to take into battle, then choose from a selection of action cards and minions to join them in the arena. While heroes remain under direct player control, minions possess a mind of their own and will seek out opposing heroes and monsters to deal damage – even as The Burn (a deadly flood of lava) creeps in from all sides, intent on doing damage to champions and minions alike. Whether accomplished through might, magic, or monsters, the first team to eliminate both opposing heroes reigns victorious in the Demeo Battles arena.
