"You play as a Mage-Warrior with psychic abilities. You wake up in a grim place without windows. A thick air moves the leaves of strange luminous trees in the center of the room. Your last clear memory is the capture of your ship by what you identified as the fleet of The Collector. This mad and powerful being now detains you in his Sanctuary, a mythical megastructure with ever-changing room layouts where he keeps his impressive collections of other-worldly creatures and Artefacts. The Collector will now enjoy watching you explore, fight and eventually die in your attempt to escape the Sanctuary. But in this cursed place, death is only temporary, as The Collector will endlessly bring you to life, stripping you of all your Artefacts in the process.
Unless you have what it takes to be the first to ever escape this Demise Sanctuary.
Demise Sanctuary is currently developed by one person (Me!) with Godot Engine. The final game will include many more items and monsters, rooms, traps, neutral creatures called Gollopins acting as companions to the player, Bosses and a final Boss called The Collector. The final game will be released on Itch and Steam when it's done"

I had a blast in Demise Sanctuary Alpha gameplay, and I really love how the tutorial and the story got mixed together. There are 3 ways you can go, and the demo contains one of them right now, the agility-based path. I can't wait to see the others as well. I have to say that the game is not easy at all and takes time to get used to the mechanics and the enemies! And the collector figure behind the whole story is just pretty cool! :)
