Demo Dip: Death Trash Pt.3
9On this episode of Demo Dip, I return one more time to Phil's quest to find out what's growing within his body. We've made our way to Bunker 17, an "abandoned" facility where we need to find Octagon Fluid for our medical examination, and an intact Machine Core for that guy in town. The bunker has been taken over by fleshmutants, and humans who are likely on their way to becoming fleshmutants. We also have a chat with Fleshface to find out what he wants, which is to meet new people. Then, we get stuck in with fighting off the numerous hostiles, using all the tricks we've picked up so far. One of the humans even hands us a sword, which is a better weapon that the large stick we've been using. The interior of the bunker is just as hostile, and one of the fleshies even has an energy weapon. Once everyone has painted the floor, we grab our Fluid and Core and head back to the Fleshkraken to introduce it to Fleshface. They get along swell, as Fleshface is consumed to be processed. Back in town, we hand over the Machine Core and get nothing but experience for our trouble. Mortus examines us, and confirms there's Flesh activity within our body. He wants to see if we can use this to communicate with the "Flesh Nexus" within the caves, but our flesh-voice isn't strong enough yet. So we get a lesson in the language of fleshkin from the Kraken, and return to try again. This time, the Nexus welcomes us in.
