First Impressions On: Fatal Frame

On this episode of First Impressions, Mafuyu Hinasaki goes looking for his mentor Takamine in the haunted and isolated Himuro Mansion, where he and his assistants disappeared while writing a book about the house. Mafuyu also brings along his mother's camera, the Camera Obscura, which is supposed to be able to see things hidden to the human eye. However, he discovers that it's also capable of exorcising ghosts when he encounters a hostile spirit. Despite this, Mafuyu ends up going missing as well, and two weeks later his sister Miku ends up at the Mansion to search for him. Luckily for her, she finds the Camera Obscura fairly quickly, before any hostile spirits find her. With the help of a seemingly benevolent ghost, we find our way deeper into the house and encounter the hostile spirit of Takamine's editor.
