Demon's Tier+ is a roguelike with twin stick shooter controls. This video will show you how to unlock the Archer class early, which is the fastest moving class out of the initial 6 that are available to you, and the class I recommend clearing the Tier 1 dungeon with, due to its higher movement speed and attack.

All you need to do is gather 10000 D-Tokens, then use a Magic Rope to go back to town, and unlock him at the tavern. D-Tokens are acquired by killing enemies. At the end of each floor, you can choose to spend money (different from D-Tokens) to upgrade different stats. The main one to focus on is the Combo stat, which increases the amount of D-Tokens earned from kills. You should be able to get over 10000 D-Tokens on the floor after the first boss if you've been upgrading combo.
