Demon's Winter (DOS) [08] Removing the Curse Glyphs
This is probably the most annoying part of the game. The gist of it is that you sail south of the previous island where the High Temple of Malifon is and you'll reach a large land mass with three 'arms'. At the end of each arm is a Curse rune that you need to camp on and use the Uncurse God Rune to remove. You'll lose some HP for every step you take in the area until the glyph is removed. I get a bit lost, which leads to a lot of wasted time finding my way to the last glyph .
The pain doesn't end here. Remember that as part of the next phase, you need to use the Imprison spell on Malifon, which itself costs 100 SP. You'll have 50 SP after this section, and you only recover 5 SP a day resting. And you can't sleep for days in a row immediately, so you have to wander around and thus fight encounters every day until you recover enough SP, which in turn might slow down the healing process as you might need SP to heal. What great game design. I'd honestly recommend and using your ship to quickly fight and run away from encounters to pass the time instead, and save scumming to control the amount of damage you take on your ship.
[Update: 9th May 2022]
Apparently you can come here and Uncurse all the glyphs earlier before storming the High Temple of Malifon. I've not tested this in a full playthrough, but I don't think there's any real reasons why you would have issues doing it in this order, so you probably should do this first while the towns are all still up so you can go back and get your ship repaired, and also sleep in inns to recover SP faster.
