Denjin Makai was produced by Banpresto in 1994. Just like any other Beat-Em-Up game, you go through stages beating up enemies and going against a boss at the end of each stage. However, each character have his/her own special attacks in this one. They also have their very own ending as well. Lastly, you can recharge your power gauge, so you can use your special attacks without losing health.

Since I never played the English version of Denjin Makai, I decided to give it a shot for the very first time. While I played it, I saw some Major Differences between the English and Japanese version.

Here are some Differences in the English Version:

- There's no Intro/Opening music at the very beginning.
- There's no speeches before a stage starts and before going against a boss at the end of a stage.
- There are no Bonus Stages at all.
- There are a few name changes. for example, Kurokishi is called Black-Knight.
- The characters ending doesn't play at the end, It goes right to the credits.
