This is another video of Descent, a first-person space shooter developed by Parallax Software and published by Interplay in 1994. It is one of the first games that introduced the ability to move along each of the three axes independently in a three-dimensional room, the so called six degrees of freedom. It is also the first game with a true 3D textured environment including polygon based enemies, a feature which is often attributed to id Software's Quake. This game was originally done for MS-DOS and then ported to Apple Macintosh and Sony PlayStation.
