Descent into Var Extremes [Brackeys Game Jam 2023 Submission]
1Here's my entry for Brackey's Game Jam 2023.2!
Theme for the Game Jam: [ DIVING DEEPER ]
Taking the words "Diving Deeper", most people spring to the idea of diving into the depths of the ocean and such.
For me, the first thing that came to mind was DIVEKICKS and going DEEP into a dungeon like area!
In this game, you are tasked with running to the goal that is located in the depths of an unknown facility as fast as possible using your main abilities such as a jump BOOST and the famous DIVEKICK move!
Race to the finish as you fly by the stage with your mobility options, where at the end your time will be displayed so that you can share it with your friends!
Some slight bugs and lack of polish are present as well as the game currently only one map available due to it being only a game jam submission but if this game prototype is fun then maybe I can expand upon it in the near future!
