Taking off from last time, Mitch and his Pokemon team all go to Viridian Forest to battle various trainers and catch Pokemon in order to train up for the first gym leader, Brock. After getting to Pewder City, Mitch faces off against Brock and ultimately provails as his Pikachu Samson had Double Kick against Geodude and his Oddish's Absorb was able to take out Onix in one hit. Afterwards, Mitch was awarded the Boulder Badge and subsequently meets up with Blue (AKA Gary Oak, the other son of Prof. Oak) who berates Mitch but gives him some helpful items. Next time will be battles against other trainers and catching Pokemon on the way to the next area, Mt. Moon.
