Part 1 - The Beginning!

Here it is folks, the start of the 2nd playthrough of "Month of Iwata" where I return back to Splatoon 2 where it is time to get on with the expansion DLC of the game, Octo Expansion. Beginning the story, Cap'n Craig Cuttlefish attempts to fight an unarmed Octoling who has regained consciousness, but has lost all her memories after being attacked by a mysterious force. Cuttlefish forges an alliance with the Octoling and the duo find themselves in a subway station where a telephone tells them that they are at Deepsea Metro, a testing facility that tests subjects on skill, mental ability and much more. The Octoling who is subsequently named Agent 8, decides to partake in tests that earns her Mem Cakes that allow her to regain some of her memories. Shortly afterwards, Pearl and Marina, the duo known as Off the Hook offer to help out Agent 8 and Cuttlefish in their quest. So of course, it's time to find out what is going on in part 1 of Octo Expansion. More to come next time.

In the depths below Inkopolis lies a testing facility where an amnesiac Octoling and Leader of the Squidbreak Splatoon, Cap'n Craig Cuttlefish are stuck in a subway station where the Octoling known as Agent 8 (AKA applicant 10,008) has been given a CQ card and a CQ-80 device which they can use to get to the promised land. Join Agent 8, Cuttlefish, and Off the Hook duo Pearl and Marina where they find out what is going on and if Agent 8 can get their memories back.
