3Canal Futura -- in partnership with CNI (National Confederation of Industry) -- wanted to investigate what causes some educational systems to be among the best in the world. Every three years, the Program for International Student Assessment -- Pisa, developed by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development - OECD, evaluates and ranks the best countries in Education. Based on the last ranking (2009), Futura visited the locations that received the best results.
The locations chosen are: SHANGHAI (in China, ranking first in the world), FINLAND (third), SOUTH KOREA (fifth), CHILE (the best ranked in Latin America) and CANADA, which has an integrating immigration policy, remains among the top seven. Although pointed out as one of the countries that evolved the most in the past decade, Brazil occupies the 53rd position in this ranking and will also be featured in the series.
With Final Destination: Education, Canal Futura intends to offer a diversified overlook on education, without looking for ready-made formulas or prejudgments, but emphasizing the solutions and strategies from each educational system, in the point of view of those who provide and receive the best education in the world.
