Destiny 2 NEW BUFFED PvP Warlock Build and the Destiny 2 Season of the Lost Best Warlock Build For PvP. This is a PvP Warlock build that is built around the recently buffed warlock Arc subclass: Attunement of the Elements and the reworked exotic helmet The Stag. This build focuses on maxing out rift cooldowns and creating strong team shooting opportunities. Using the arc buddy and the damage resistance from the Stag makes winning a primary fight a breeze. No Time to Explain and Dead Man’s Tale provides the main ranged firepower of this build while the shotguns combined with an arc buddy allow for easy close-range kills. This build is one of my best Warlock builds for general Crucible, 3v3 playlists (Trials of Osiris, Survival), and 6v6 playlists (Crucible control, Iron Banner).

This is primarily a defensive build based on using your damage resistance in a rift and your arc buddies to lock down important parts of the map while holding lanes/control points. I generally try to push to key points of the map and set up a rift near cover. With the combination of peek shooting from cover, healing from my rift, and the damage resistance, I can usually win primary gunfights against anyone who challenges my lane. If no one is pushing I feel more confident pushing forward with an arc buddy at my side. And with the combination of The Stag’s perk that gives you close to 1/4 of your rift energy when you get critically wounded and running double utility kickstart, you can have your rift up almost all the time. Since you’re putting down so many rifts this build can also accommodate aggressive pushes by providing the whole team with an arc buddy to give them the damage that they need to win a fight.
This build really gets to shine in the Trials of Osiris. Since The Stag drops a rift when you die it can make it much easier for a teammate to revive you. The damage resistance from the rifts also makes it much easier to revive your downed teammates.
