This Destiny 2: The Final Shape series features full walkthroughs with voice-over, 4K cutscenes, boss fights, funny moments, glitches, early builds and demos, trophy and achievement guides, and full game videos — all captured and edited for a complete and immersive experience.

I first tried this mission last year when The Final Shape released on Grandmaster, but after dozens of failed attempts I gave up. A year later, I came back only planning to complete it on normal difficulty — since I already knew how tough it was.

But after jumping into LFG (Looking for Group), things quickly changed. Teams kept switching and wanting to push for Grandmaster difficulty, and that’s when I became determined to finally beat it. After countless attempts, sitting in orbit waiting for groups, rage quits, and wipes, I eventually pulled together a solid fireteam through LFG and managed to complete Excision on Grandmaster — finally finishing at around 7 AM UK time.

I ran the New Land Beyond sniper rifle, which performed amazingly throughout the fight, and with only 2–3 deaths across the entire mission, I was thrilled to finally earn the drops at the end.

This run became the perfect way to wrap up not only the Legendary Solo Campaign of The Final Shape, but also the challenge of tackling the final mission with nothing but determination, persistence, and random LFG teammates — all without friends or a clan online for communication… and with no chat going at all.

A year in the making… it’s finally done.
