So while out of map, I've noticed something about public events. Any of them that spawn anything in the environment will also spawn a copy of that item out of map. This includes, but is not limited to:
Cabal Incursion
Glimmer Drill
Spider Tanks
Ether Servitor
Ether Ritual
All of these events will spawn some kind of thing underneath the map.
That's pretty cool.
