Destructible Buildings Lesson #1: Buildings are mostly empty space!

The building to the left is modelled with individual floors and a central column, whereas the buildings on the right are solid (approximate) cubes.
Previously I've been using the free building assets to the right. The resulting destruction behaviour was not realistic because buildings enclose a lot of empty space, thus when coming down the resulting pieces of debris will take up much less space than the size of the building might indicate and of course the actual downfall will be a lot faster.
Slowdowns occur because I haven't pre-calculated the building pieces. I haven't figured out how to do this for several dozen objects easily. Probably requires an editor script.
