Deus Ex: Human Revolution is an action RPG video game - combining elements of first-person and stealth shooting - developed by Eidos Montréal and published by Square Enix. It was released worldwide in August 2011 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with a conversion to OS X debuting in April of the following year. It is the third main title in the Deus Ex series, with its events taking place two decades before the original game launched in 2000. Gameplay involves exploration and combat in environments connected to several different central levels, in addition to missions that generate experience points that can be used to improve the character's skills. Choices of dialogues are also present, with options for responses at important points in history affecting how some of the events occur.
