I finally solved it. I Liked the idea of the the A.I. taking over characters that the player isn't actively controlling. But, Icould never figure out how to get manual control. Before, Unreal Engine did this process automatically. But Now I know how to Spawn my own Custom A.I. Controller manually, which gives me a lot more control of the A.I. Perception and the exact moment the A.I. takes vver. This, among many nuances, are things I had to solve to make this gameplay as immersive as possible. TIN (the Kid with the Robot on its back) will now be able to attack, defend and follow on command or automatically.
Still much work to do. But it's getting there.
