0Who needs a healer when you have THE Basch Fon Ronsenburg of Dalmasca?
Was surprised this comp worked the first time I did it. Forgot about the melee resist that time, but ended up getting exactly 100 turns with Basch and a Leo friend.
Basch negates any need for a healer. He only needs to maintain his S1 buff during periods the boss uses his charge attack, and it's not like the boss is spamming that left and right.
Wakka doesn't work too well with other supports since he needs that 120% attack up generic, and the devs thought it was a great idea to put that buff first way back when times were much simpler... Thankfully this comp has no party buffs outside of Wakka's EX buff, but disappointed that I can't shove him in a team with Penelo who pairs really nicely with overflow supports.
Shadow just nukes single target bosses, so naturally I brought him along. Plus he works well with Wakka's blind (I'm assuming they stack for 120% evasion on Shadow when it's active) so it's almost like he has 10 extra turns on his c65 every now and then.
