DFFOO GL (The Yuke Cometh CHAOS Challenge) Amidatelion LD Layle, Squall BT
Alexander summon,
Note: Both Ami and Squall are EX+3LB and their enhancement boards. Squall has 3x Atk 108 artifacts, LD and WoI passives, and 3 spheres equipped - his own, Bartz and Noel. Amidatelion has their LD and its own sphere. Layle is EX+0LB with his bloom passive.
Wave 1: Prominence, Small Prominence x2 (completed on turn 22)
- The Rydia LC boss that people hate most while doing FEOD1 has returned. The bomb will grow in size as the battle progress. It will use AOE Meteor in Size 3. In size 4, BREAK it so that you will revert back to Size 1. Otherwise, you will eat its Big Bang attack
- Have Layle applied Force debuff and Ami use 1 S1 to delete the main Prominence turns goes by. Squall's Rough Divide and 1 Renzoukuken should be sufficient to destroy the mobs. Focus your single target attacks and the bomb will grow in size. At Size 3, have everyone take a defensive stance. Break it on Size 4 and it will revert back Size 3. With Layle's launches, your summon gauge should be ready fast. Before you kill Prominence, use summon and kill it in the summon. This is important because...
Wave 2: Bug Slug x2 (completed on turn 54)
- The boss will inflict a field-effect called Mucus Charge on their first turn. When this is in effect, any turns after your characters' act will be delay by a turn. This also includes instant turns abilities like Aphmau's special HP+/BRV+ after using her EX, Garnet's EX, and free skill, etc. If you use an AA/ instant ability, you will move your turns.
Since you have actions in the summon before the boss' first turn, the Mucus Charge effect will only take effect after the Bug Slugs get their first action. So you can use these additional turns to have your characters deal more damage without the delay effect. When the Slugs use Incase, focus on the other and shave the BRV for the one that is hiding in the shell. Have Ami delete the turn of the other one when it is out of its shield. If you want to damage the one in the shell, use launches. Squall should focus on the one that is not in hiding as his BRV damage will resist when the slug hide in their shells. When both of them are out, have Ami use their LD to delete the turns.
I go for a big finish with Squall finishing up the battle with his BURST. I believe that this team comp is doable even with Squall has only his LD.
