I can't say I personally liked Civilization IV as much as Civilization 3. The look of the game engine, the unit choices, and some of the ideas for the game didn't really make me play it as much as I did the previous games in the series.

Still, I do like a lot of the ideas that are found in this game, and you can see a lot of the ideas that eventually made their way over to Civilization V originating her too.
