DFuxa Plays - Let's Learn Dungeon of the Endless - Ninth Floor
Starting at level 9, one should expect that Elite Enemies begin to replace the appearance of normal enemies. With this in mind, one should plan their defenses more carefully to deal with a heavier onslaught of incoming foes.
Also, due to the lack of Dust I have available at level 9, I make a point of noting the distinction between Max's ability to gather you more Dust resource when exploring, over operating a module for other resources.
To make a note of it, I also talk a bit about your Inventory, and the different between the Backpack which will let you carry items to the next floor over the Ground Inventory in which items will be lost if you leave the floor.
In regards to planning for the future, I shift my research focus over to looking at Support and Hindering Modules, as well as researching the Seblaster. I also make a note that it is potentially worth stopping research when you have enough modules to carry you through the game - though I do sort of keep researching regardless.
Eventually I find a merchant that deals in food, for which I sell the items that I carried over from the previous floor that I had saved from the Dust Merchant. However, a particular item available is the Hipster Scarf, which I buy for future use.
After buying the Hipster Scarf I make a note about Me First! and Skulker, and how the skills can be useful in causing enemies to target or not target specific heroes; allowing for better control of incoming damage to your heroes.
Something else to talk about as well is that I explain the use of Science to reset Active Abilities that are currently on cooldown. I make use of this a bit in regards to Nanor when I use his Cooking with Gas Ability a fair bit.
Some more information to throw in is that I make use of Tactical HUD modules finally - and I make use of multiples of them. Because I use multiples I make a distinction of how building more of them will further increase Hero attack power when they are built.
Near the end of the video I pick up an item that has the Repair ability associated with it. When I find it I make a note about how items like those can allow you to make use of Heroes without the Repair ability to repair modules when you need too.
