DFuxa Showcases - Wizardry Squared
Got a steam key for this game via the steam roguelike curator function.
My general impressions of this game is that it is closer to a prototype then it is to a released game - but this is indeed a released game. The premise here is that you are a young wizard with the ability to manipulate objects to your advantage. Playing in procedurally generated levels filled with enemies you need use your spells to navigate and get around.
I feel this game is held back mostly by a lack of simplification of its game play principles. While the tutorial that was made showed that their could be fun to be had here, it is let down by how frustrating it is to learn the games concepts for casting spells and preparing them. It also hurts that you can't really test your spells out properly after the tutorial.
