Di Gi Charat: Digicommunication (デ・ジ・キャラット: でじこミュニケーション) (GBA) - Debug Menu
This video showcases the debug menu in Di Gi Charat: Digicommunication, which can be accessed by patching offset 0x1E86 in the ROM with byte 0x00 via a hex editor. While this offset is patched, the debug menu will always appear on boot.
Features:
"Test" (0:00) - This tests out the Tenchou ranking system.
"Sound Test" (0:17) - This allows you to use the sound test with all music, sounds and voice clips unlocked (normally, you can only play the ones you've already heard while playing the game).
"Script Test" (0:36) - This allows you to access any of the conversations in the game.
"Chain Test" (1:17) - I'm not entirely sure how this one functions.
"Event Test" (2:03) - This one allows you to display all of the CG artwork used in the game.
"Face Test" (2:15) - This goes through the dialogue sprites for every character.
"Set ClearFlag", "Set MinigameFlag", "Set CG Flag" and "Set SP Flag" - These ones unlock various things in the game. I don't exactly know what "Set ClearFlag" unlocks, but "Set MinigameFlag" unlocks all of the mini-games, "Set CG Flag" unlocks all of the CG artwork and "Set SP Flag" unlocks the Black Gema Gema Gang, which is notably the only way to do so nowadays, as the intended method (taking your GBA to a GAMERS store in real life and doing a data transfer) is no longer possible, at least AFAIK.
"Init BackupRAM" - Wipes your save data.
"MAP" (4:05) - This tests out the "working phase" of each week, where the girls do their jobs (or completely slack off) while the citizens of Akihabara come in and buy goods. Strangely, there are two Dejikos in this map (one working the cash register and another cleaning up the store), you can't speak to any of the girls and there seems to be an infinite amount of customers, as even after everything is sold out, they won't stop coming in and spending money.
"MAIN" (6:02) - Sends you back to the main menu.
