TL;DR:
- Angelic/Demonic Powers are gone
- 4 main stats that have different effects per class
- Magic items roll fewer but more potent stats
- Legendary powers roll randomly as a 5th stat on items
- Items have base stats that define them
- "Weapon attack" and "Defense" are the two main offensive and defensive stats - needs refinement imo
- New class teased for BlizzConline 2021
- Skills can be upgraded through skill tree & certain main stat thresholds adding new effects (very cool)
- Unique items have pre-defined rolls & effects
- Overall itemization looks very promising with cool effects that don't corner you in your choices
- Respeccing will be possible but come at a cost, you should make impactful long-term choices
