Diablo 4 has had a terrible season 1, but can Season 2 save Diablo 4?

With the launch of Diablo 4 Season 1, there was a very bad patch that nerfed classes, builds and experience gains. On top of this many of the quality of life changes were not fixed and the actual content added was lacking.

So I wanted to go over why I believe Diablo 4 Season 1 failed so badly, and whether Season 2 is likely to bring players back. I'm very worried that although Season 2 is a step in the right direction, there still many unfinished issues with The Diablo 4 seasonal content.
