It has been +/- 20years since I played original Diablo II (2000) and its expansion Lord of Destruction (2001). Must say Blizzard did a great job updating this classic game when they released Diablo II: Resurrected

The Re-Mastered edition (Diablo II: Resurrected) was released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and Series S on September 23, 2021.

Game is available on Blizzard Client (Battle - Net) for around 40 USD or 40 EURO's. A bit pricy but worth the update boasting not only graphics update, continues online updates, new rune words, online gameplay, tons customisation in menu and some quality of life improvements like auto gold pick-up and so much more.

Its original game with a drastic face lift. Best part old characters can be easily imported by copying the saved files into the D2 Resurrected. game folder making it simple transition. If u plan on playing game now D2 Resurrected is the way to go.

U can play D2 Rec while u save up to get the newly released Diablo IV open-beta (opened in March 17, 2023) which can be pre-ordered for heavy 70 USD or 70 EURO''s. Diablo IV official release date set for June 2023.
