(oops, forgot to turn Fraps on for first pack)
0:00 - Second pack, Horde Mortar Teleporter Frozen
1:13 - Third pack, Arcane Teleporter Vampiric Mortar... WITH BIG HAMMERS
2:40 - Fourth pack, Fire Chains Reflect Extra Health Nightmare - essentially just chokepoint cheesed them.
3:27 - Fifth pack, Avenger Arcane Fast Nightmare
5:00 - Butcher
7:47 - Bonus cheekiness with a pack I couldn't handle. :V

Farming Butcher Inferno for loot- The basic idea is to repeatedly get him down as quickly as possible with 5-stack Neph for loot.

My spec is kinda weird; I found that the typical 3-defense Elective spec really couldn't bring Butcher down fast enough before soft enrage with my initially terrible gear, so I tried/applied a more mobile playstyle for the rares/champs. (Obviously you have to use the same spec for both champs and butcher or you lose your Neph stack) I have to say I honestly enjoy this more than spamming defensive abilities and kiting and waiting for mobs to die of boredom.

My gear now (in this video) is so-so (480dps mh, 400dps oh atm) and crit-based dual wield. I got 29.5% crit with +265% crit damage (i.e. crits do 3.65x) and basically mediocre (by Inferno standards) resists - 246 resist all and 4439 armor.

The gist of it is to start Chamber of Suffering, port to Halls of Agony 2 and find your way as fast as possible to Butcher, killing champions/rares along the way for Neph buff. Most of the time there isn't enough to get a 5-stack, so I Town Portal outside Butcher's chamber, waypoint to Forsaken Graveyard and finish off my 5-stack (There's 3 crypts, 2 of them have guaranteed packs), waypoint back to town and return to HoA3 via the TP.

Butcher is about on par, in terms of gear requirements, with the early champion packs. I did this starting with much worse gear, where I would just get raped by HoA elite packs. I'd kite everything out of the way, get to the boss entrance, then get my Neph stacks up in the early areas using the method above (Cathedral 3 and Forsaken Graveyard waypoints were my good friends)

General insights:
- Hall of Agony 2 exit block has an entrance from top left. i.e. always try to make your way southeast and you'll find it faster.
- Hall of Agony 3 exit block has an entrance from bottom left, i.e. always try to make your way northeast.
- If unable to handle HoA packs, kite them to junctions and out of the way you want to explore, die and respawn.
- Leave health globes on the floor from trash. I can't emphasize this enough. It's free mulligans you can run back to when dealing with champs.

Monk build insights:
- With decent resists (I started at like 170 via One with Everything) and armor you should be at least tanky enough to take on most starting champ packs.
- Tempest Rush is ridiculously fun. It's a right click force-move with unitwalking (mobs don't block your way with Tempest Rush)
- Mystic Ally is probably the best scaling 'heal' you have. Whatever is hitting Mystic Ally is damage you don't have to deal with, and it only costs 25 spirit.

Butcher insights:
- Three of his moves, the large swing, the charge, and the pudge meathook are completely avoidable. ESPECIALLY the meathook, learn how to dodge it and your life is much easier
- At first when starting before you have better gear, you need as much DPS uptime as possible. Try to position him where he's in melee range from two panels, preferably 3, VERY preferably the top corners for emergency health well. This means you won't have situations where you're sitting holding your dick because he's right smack in the middle of a panel with fire. His charge and large swings are on cooldown, so it's possible to gauge roughly when he'll use them, then point his charge in a direction that puts him in an ideal spot.
