To answer the question as fast as possible: no. The answer is no. At least, not quite. But we're getting there, folks. One long two-hour block at a time. This will be yet another textbook session of our "beloved" Diablo IV, I'm afraid... but it's always made better by friends and companions along the journey, which I had plenty of tonight. I'm still not buying the "friends descending into Hell" thing from this plot, but I'm feeling it in real life as the end draws nearer.

That said, credit where credit is due: there were at least a couple of moments of well-crafted dialogue in this session! And a couple of story beats that could have been satisfying if they had been better paced to allow them to feel earned. And most importantly, Blizzard deserves credit for the one thing that they do, 500% consistently, do well: set pieces. Setting a scene remains a skill that they use to great effect, and as we descend into actual Hell for the first time since this game began, I do feel some sense of excitement knocking politely on the door.

I just have the sinking feeling that when I open it, someone's going to ask me if I'm Seymour Butts and whether I ordered a pizza. So I'll remain skeptical, if you don't mind. Next week might be the end, so whatever they have in store, we'll see it in all its "glory" soon. Stay tuned...
