Gameplay footage of all of the games in MAME that benefit from a diagonal 4-way joystick. This is the same as a 4-way joystick but it is rotated 45 degrees to only allow the diagonals to be used. I did not include Inferno as it requires 2 diagonal 4-way joysticks with a button on one of them. See my "Twin Stick Games with Buttons" video for gameplay footage of Inferno.

*Jack Rabbit should technically not be on this list. It actually uses an 8-way joystick however only the diagonals are used during gameplay. The standard directions are used when entering initials. When mapping in MAME, you will have to map two directions for each input. Example: For "left" you would map down-left and up-left.
