After our last approach to the Challenges in The Angler we're back to try and narrow down how to best focus on Diamond sized fish. And starting off is our Largemouth Bass challenge. It seems if you want to catch a Diamond fish there is a sound strategy to try and work out. First you want to narrow down the lure type to what works for the species in general. Once you find the lure that lets you catch that fish consistently start increasing the hook size until you get mostly golden sized landed fish. Now step it up one more size and there should be basically nothing striking your lure. You've figured out the hook size you need to use. Keep this no-hitting hook size and try all baits/lures of that size until you land your Diamond. It might only work for these challenges but the results will show it works. Oh, and there's also free tackle added to the game which is...honestly not exactly good when you consider the entire picture of how it applies in-game and works.
