Broadly speaking, the story in this game adapts the classic Chinese literary work "Journey to the West" or better known here, namely the film version of the series, "Ape Sakti". But unlike the original story, this game is set in a post-apocalyptic setting with robots as opponents.


The story begins when the main character, Monkey (calm down, he's human), wakes up in a plane that is damaged and is about to crash. While trying to escape, Monkey meets a woman named Tripitaka who also tries to escape from the plane. Monkey manages to survive the plane crash by "riding" an escape pod used by Tripitaka, even though when landing Monkey is thrown and fainted. When he regained consciousness, Tripitaka had put on a headband which would cause him great pain if Monkey did not follow his orders. Trip, the call from Tripitaka, then explains that he needs help to return to his village safely, so he ends up "enslaving" Monkey. In the end, Monkey helped Trip to return to his place of residence. So, starting from here, a friendly relationship was established between Monkey and Trip. As in films with two characters who have different personalities and interests, their relationship was not so good at first. What unites them is the headband. Even though it's a cliche, over the course of their relationship they are getting closer and are no longer bound by the headband (yes, even though Monkey still wears it). This relationship is illustrated very well thanks to the right story pacing and sufficient character development. The trip was even more colorful with the presence of Pigsy, Trip's old friend, who later helped out.
