RE3] A wave of zombie attacks has ravaged Raccoon City for 2 days straight. RPD Chief of Police Brian Irons ordered police forces to maintain barricades around the Bank and Central Tram Station. However, these two positions are very easily penetrated by the zombies. The Umbrella Corporation sends troops from the Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service (UBCS) to help control the situation in Raccoon City, but their troops are almost completely wiped out against the zombies. Not long after that, the European branch of the Umbrella Corp sent Beta Hunters and Gamma Hunters to conduct a trial, and lowered a T-type Nemesis (yrant) via helicopter.
[RE3] In Raccoon General Hospital there is a massacre of the hospital staff by patients who have become zombies, causing the hospital to no longer function. Umbrella Corp. is informed that doctors at Raccoon General Hospital have successfully developed a vaccine for the t-Virus. Therefore the UBCS troops were ordered there to get data about the vaccine and destroy the hospital.
[RE2] The next wave of zombies attacks the Raccoon Police Department (RPD), resulting in heavy police casualties while defending the attack. In that war the RPD's communication system equipment was destroyed, making the RPD cut off from the outside world.
Sept. 27, 1998
[RE2] 1.00 PM local time: The surviving RPD policemen defend themselves from the zombie attack on the West side of the RPD building. Lickers started popping up around the RPD, killing the remaining cops one by one.
[RE3] The rest of the UBCS Echo Team have reached St. Michael's Clock Tower, the evacuation location that has been determined before the mission begins. Faced with this difficult situation, the UBCS took the guns and bullets from their wounded troops, and used the civilians of Raccoon City who should have been rescued as their own line of defense.
